Nokia 7610
The Nokia 7610 is Nokia's first megapixel
camera phone, combining a high-quality digital
camera, large screen and rich feature set
with a radical eye-catching design.
Largely influenced in design terms by the groundbreaking
Nokia 7600, the 7610 looks like nothing
else on the market.
Look past the radical design, and it's
clear that this is a highly capable phone. Firstly,
there's a large 176x208 pixel display in 65,000 colours,
then there's a 1.0 megapixel camera with 4X digital
zoom and low-light-level capability. Add to that rich
media support, and the Nokia 7610 looks
like a winner.
The Nokia 7610 can take
video clips of up to 10 minutes in addition to still
photos, and it comes with a rich set of media features
such as RealPlayer audio/video playback and MP3
support. There's 8Mb of internal memory plus a 64Mb
MMC card supplied as standard, and the 7610 can be upgraded
even further. Connectivity to a PC is through USB cable
or through Bluetooth.
The 7610 is a tri-band GSM phone with GPRS data support.
Unlike the 7600, this is a strictly GSM-only
handset.
