Nokia 6822
The Nokia 6822 is an upgrade to the popular
Nokia 6820, featuring a better screen and
various other enhancements to make the 6822
a more flexible and user-friendly messaging
tool.
Like the 6820 before it, the most noticeable feature
of the Nokia 6822 is the way it unfolds
into a full QWERTY keyboard, which makes
sending emails and text messages really
easy. The screen has been upgraded to 65,000
colours and 128x128 pixels, and when you
open up the keyboard, the 6822 rotates the
screen automatically.
The key to the 6822 is communication
- it can send and read email using standard
internet mail protocols, access the Web
using the 6822's built-in XHTML browser,
send and receive MMS and SMS messages, instant
messaging, and is even Blackberry compatible
(if you have an appropriate Blackberry server).
It's not just messaging where the 6822
excels - this is a tri-band GSM phone, so
it can be used pretty much everywhere in
the world, and it also supports GPRS, EDGE
(where available) and HSCSD data for maximum
flexibility. You can also connect the Nokia
6822 to a PC or other device using Bluetooth,
infra-red or a USB cable.
