Nokia 7270
A rare clamshell phone from Nokia, the
7270 combines retro styling with high tech
to create an extremely attractive and capable
clamshell phone.
Inside the 7270 is a 128x160 pixel display
in 65,000 colours with a smaller 96x65 4,096
colour display on the outside. The Nokia
7270 has a VGA resolution digital camera,
and also a stereo FM radio, built-in speakerphone and
PTT (push-to-talk) support.
The Nokia 7270 is a tri-band GSM
phone that also supports GPRS and EDGE data
(where available). As you might expect,
the 7270 has Java support for games and
other applications, but it also has an XHTML
web browser, email capability, voice commands,
full PC synchronisation and of course polyphonic
ringtones.
One unusual feature with the Nokia 7270
is styling. In addition to the attractive
asymmetric design and bold lines, the 7270
can be enhanced by a range of fabric wrap-around
covers (a little like the Nokia
7200) to create a handset that is very
distinctive and stylish indeed.
The Nokia 7270 measures 88x46x22mm and
weighs 121 grams. Talktime is up to 4 hours
with up to 11 days standby time.
