Nokia 7280
The Nokia 7280 is radically different
from almost everything else on on the market,
combining 1920s-style retro chic with twenty-first
century technlogy.
This is a highly unusual pen-format phone,
measuring just 115x32x19mm and coming in
at a very lightweight 84 grams. The Nokia
7280 manages to be so compact because it
doesn't need a number pad for dialling -
everything is voice activated or can be
controlled with the minimalist keypad and
rotator.
The screen on the 7280 is another unusual
feature, measuring 104x208 pixels in 65,000
colours. There's a practical 640x480 pixel
digital camera squeezed into the Nokia 7280's
frame too.
The Nokia 7280 isn't just a pretty phone,
it's practical too, with tri-band GSM and
GPRS data, an XHTML browser for web access,
and a stereo FM radio.
