Nokia 6830
The Nokia 6830 is anticipated to be a
highly unusual 3G phone featuring a large,
square display with 208x208 pixels. The
display on the Nokia 6830 is likely to be
a derivative of the 104x208 pixel unit on
the Nokia 7280, although the pixel density
on the 6830's screen may be much higher
than on many previous Nokias, giving a crisper
display without increasing overall size
greatly.
We anticipate that the design of the
Nokia 6830 will owe something to the 6800,
6810
and 6820
messaging phones, with a fold-out QWERTY
keyboard. 3G specifications are thought
to be broadly similar to the Nokia
6830, with a handset primarily designed
for messaging and web access rather than
video calls.
At present we expect the Nokia 6830 to
have EDGE and GSM data in addition to 3G,
plus Bluetooth and Blackberry Connect support.
