Nokia 6680
The Nokia 6680 is Nokia's first 3G phone
with full video calling capabilities, and
a whole lot more too!
Using the powerful Symbian Series 60
operating system, the 6680 is a versatile
smartphone that can run a variety of applications
for business or personal use, giving the
Nokia 6680 far greater flexibility than
most 3G handsets on the market.
This phone is an impressive all-rounder.
The Nokia 6680's 1.3 megapixel main camera
is capable of taking high quality stills
photos and video clips that can be stored
on the 6680's hot swappable reduced size
MMC (RS-MMC) memory cards. The 6680's main
camera is hidden behind a sliding panel
to protect it, and when you open it, the
Nokia 6680 automatically activates it for
use. The secondary camera is a VGA resolution
device for making video calls.
You can connect the Nokia 6680 to an
accessory or PC using Bluetooth or via a
USB cable. Because this is a 3G phone, you
can also hook a laptop up to it for high-speed
internet access (service limitations may
apply).
It's a great music phone too, playing
back MP3s and a variety of other audio and
video files - unlike many other handsets
of this type, the Nokia 6680 will play back
in stero. You can also capture video clips
using the 6680's cameras and then send them
to friends using MMS.
The Nokia 6680's screen is a large, bright
176x208 pixel display in 262,000 colours.
In addition to 3G network support, the 6680
also supports tri-band GSM and EDGE (where
available) so that you can use it worldwide.
