Motorola MPx
The Motorola MPx (formerly known as the
MPx300) is a Windows Smartphone 2003 based
phone with some unique features.
The MPx has several unique or nearly
unique features. First of all, it has a
clever hinge that allows the phone to open
in a "tall" configuration for
making calls, and a "wide" configuration
for use as a PDA. It also features a small
QWERTY keypad, stylus input, a large
320x240 pixel display, a 1.3 megapixel camera,
built-in wireless ethernet, GPRS and Bluetooth.

It's
not the only phone to offer this sort of
feature.. the Nokia
9500 also boasts wireless ethernet and
has a larger screen, but the MPx is much
more innovative in terms of packaging. One
key difference is that the MPx runs Windows,
while the Nokia is a Symbian based device,
so if you're commited to the Windows platform,
then the MPx is certainly the cleverest
device of its type.
The Motorola MPx boasts the same range
of features you get with other Windows Smartphones,
such as great compatibility with Microsoft
Office applications, email support, web
browsing and Windows Media Player, and it
makes an attractive hybrid mobile/PDA for
businesses and gadget freaks alike.
