Motorola V80
An unconventional, compact phone using
Motorola's unique rotating the technology,
the Motorola V80 shows itself to be stylish
and clever at the same time.
The rotating function on the V80 is easy
to use and features Motorola's "auto
open capability". It means that the
screen is visible at all times, and since
basic phone functions can be controlled
by the multi-way navigation key, it's quite
possible that you'll rarely need to open
it at all.
The V80's screen is a 176x220 unit in
65,000 colours, making it a high-quality
screen for general use and gaming. There's
a good quality VGA-resolution camera too,
and of course it supports multimedia messaging.
An unusual feature on this phone is peer-to-peer
gaming with other Motorola V80's using Bluetooth.
With the large screen, Java support and
ability to use the phone with just the screen
and navigation key visible, it looks like
the V80 will be a capable and interesting
gaming platform, and one that doesn't compromise
on basic usability.
