Motorola V635
Motorola's flagship GSM clamshell. the
V635 features a 1.23 megapixel camera, Bluetooth,
a high-resolution display, expandable memory
and rich multimedia support.
The Motorola V635 is this first Motorola
clamshell in its class to come with a megapixel
camera, and the camera on the V635 is certainly
a versatile one with 8X digital zoom and
video capture capabities. Photos can be
displayed and manipulated on the V635's
176x220 pixel TFT display and then send
to friend using MMS, or a PC via a cable
or the V635's inbuilt Bluetooth wireless
interface.
This isn't just a clever camera phone
though, the V635 can play back MP3 audio
files and video clips. You can expand the
V635's memory using TransFlash cards up
to a huge 256Mb, allowing plenty of space
for music tracks and multimedia.
Like other high-end Motorola phones,
the V635 is a quad-band GSM phone that can
be used pretty much anywhere in the world,
and has GPRS and EDGE (where available)
data, a WAP 2.0 browser for surfing the
web and an email client to help you keep
in touch. Of course, the V625 also supports
SMS and MMS messaging, but it also comes
with an Instant Messaging client too.
The V635 includes Personal Information
Management functions, Java support for games
and other applications, polyphonic MIDI
and MP3 ringtones plus a built-in speakerphone.
All of this is housed in a smart looking
clamshell design with changeable metal housings.
