Motorola MPx220
Windows Smartphones just got a whole
lot smarter with the Motorola MPx220, the
replacement for the popular MPx200 model.
The MPx220 runs Windows Smartphone 2003,
has quad band GSM support so that it can
work worldwide, it supports GPRS data transfer,
Bluetooth and comes with a 1.2 megapixel
digital camera with a flashlight.
Internal display is 176x220 pixels in
65,000 colours, plus a smaller external
display at 96x64 pixels in 4096 colours.
The MPx220 is available in black/silver
and silver.
The inbuilt Windows operating system
allows the MPx220 to support a variety of
different multimedia formats, including
MP3s and video. There's a mini-SD memory
slot to make it easy to expand the handset's
memory and swap files - and the MPx220 is
exandable up to a staggering 512Mb!
Like all Windows-based phones, the MPx220
is easy to use and comes with great features
to integrate with Windows-based PCs, including
synchronisation of contacts and data with
Microsoft Outlook. There's a version of
Internet Explorer for web browsing.
Windows Media Player is included in the
MPx220's software suite, giving access to
a wide range of rich media including video
clips and MP3s. There are also other downloadable
applications to help you work with Microsoft
Office documents, play games and generally
use your MPx220 to its full advantage.
The Motorola MPx220 allows you to keep
in touch wherever you are, either via email,
MMS or SMS messaging.
