Motorola E1120
The Motorola E1120 is the first 3 megapixel
phone to be announced in the UK, and is
a very highly capable 3G handset due for
release in late 2005.
With a large 240x320 pixel display, the
E1120 is great for use with video playback,
web surfing, games and a whole host of other
applications, but there's more than just
a big screen and high quality camera to
this handset.
Take the camera, with 3 megapixels this
is capable of taking high-resolution stills
photos and video clips. There's also a very
bright 30 Lux camera light on the E1120
to act as an effective flash, something
that camera phones struggle with.
There's a whopping 63Mb of internal memory
on the Motorola E1120, expandable to 512Mb
which is great for storing video clips and
audio tracks on. There's an MP3 player,
and the E1120 can also play back Windows
Media file formats. 3D stereo audio completes
the E1120's impressive multimedia capabilities.
The E1120 offers full 3G video calling
capabilities and access to rich media downloads.
With the handset's inbuilt Bluetooth connectivity,
you can use the E1120 with a variety of
accessories or connect it to a compatible
PC to synchronise data or use it as a high-speed
modem to access the internet (service limitation
may apply)
But there's even more - the Motorola
E1120 supports AGPS global positioning services,
so you'll always know where you are and
all the local facilities (depending on 3G
network provider), voice dialling and it
can even scan barcodes!
