The Motorola V547 is a business-orientated
phone, very similar to others in the V500
series except that supports EDGE high speed
data.†
Like other V500 series phones, the Motorola
V547 is an attractive handset with a large
176x220 pixel display in 65,000 colours,
a VGA resolution digital camera, Bluetooth,
video capture capabilities, MP3 ringtones
and a built-in speakerphone.

EDGE is a form of high-speed data network
running over the GSM network, and it is
quite widely used in Europe, North America
and the Asia-Pacific region, however as
yet no UK provider has agreed to support
EDGE. It is possible for the the V547 to
roam onto the EDGE data network when abroad,
you should contact your network provider
about this.
