Motorola SLVR V8
The Motorola SLVR V8 is a close relative
of the RAZR V3, offering pretty much the
same features to those who prefer a bar
type phone.
A very lightweight, ultra slim handset,
the Motorola SLVR V8 will amaze you - not
just in terms of design, but also in features.
At just 11.5mm thick, the SLVR is one
of the slimmest phones on the market, and
at only 85 grams it packs in more features
than you might imagine possible in a handset
of this weight.
There's a large 176x220 pixel display
in 262,000 colours, Bluetooth, a VGA resolution
camera and the SLVR V8 expandable memory
using TransFlash cards (up to 256Mb).
Media support is great on the SLVR V8
too - it can play back MP3 audio files and
MPEG4 video and has a 22Khz polyphonic speaker.
It's also a clever communications device,
with PTT (push-to-talk), email support,
built-in speakerphone functionality, instant
messaging, MMS and of course.. it makes
phone calls! The SLVR V8 is a tri-band GSM
device giving you coverage pretty much anywhere
in the world.
Expected to be available in Autumn 2005.
