The Samsung X910 has more up it's sleeve
too - it has dual speakers for MP3 and AAC
audio playback, a VGA resolution digital
camera that swivels 180 degrees and can
be used as a digital camcorder as well as
a stills camera.
The SGH-X910 has some other tricks too
- it supports video messaging as well as
standard multimedia messaging, bringing
3G-style functions to a tri-band GSM/GPRS
phone.
There's a WAP 2.0 browser built into
the X910, plus an email client. Access to
the internet is quick and easy through the
phone's built-in GPRS system. In addition,
the Samsung X910 has Java support for games
and other applications.
Inside is a 176x192 pixel display in
262,000 colours, with a smaller external
display. The phone is in quite a large physical
package, measuring 105x48x24 mm and weighing
129 grams, but for the added functionality,
we think it's worth it.
All-in-all, the Samsung SGH-X910 is a
very unusual and highly capable phone that
should appeal to those who want to listen
to music or capture and playback digital
video.
