Samsung E850 (SGH-E850)
The Samsung E850 is an update of the
very popular E800 series, and another attractive
and compact sliding phone.
The most obvious addition to the SGH-E850
is a pop-out rotating camera which can be
twisted to almost any angle to help take
pictures. In addition, the design of the
Samsung E850 has been subtly enhanced to
give the handset a smarter look.
Weighing under 90 grams, the Samsung
E850 is a very lightweight handset, and
with it's small but perfectly formed dimensions
of 87x43x24mm, it's very easy to carry around
too. Like all Samsungs, the sliding mechanism
is built to a very high quality, giving
the E850 a reassuring and solid feel.
The display is a 128x160 pixel panel in
65,000 colours, and the rotating camera
is a VGA resolution unit. The Samsung E850
has a WAP browser for accessing the web,
MMS messaging, and supports downloadable
polyphonic ringtones and Java games.
