Like almost all web sites, we collect a limited amount of data about our visitors for the purposes of statistical tracking, keyword analysis, referrer analysis, pages visited and IP address of visitor. This enables us to understand our visitors better and find which pages are popular and why. Logs are also maintained for security reasons.

We operate a low-volume mailing list through Topica for product annoucements and details of special offers. Topica has a strict opt-in procedure to ensure that email addresses are valid. We will not circulate email addresses collected by Topica and will not use them for any purpose other than our mailing list.

We do not collect any kind of personal information that can identify a living person. There is no information we store that is subject to the United Kingdom's Data Protection Act.

When you follow an advertiser link on the site, that information is tracked by that advertiser who will collect personal information about you when you make a transaction. In some cases we will receive a commission for any products sold through this type of referral, but under no circumstances is any personal information passed back from the advertiser to us.

Referrer links: if you create a link to our site, we reserve the right to publish a spiderable link to your referring page to ensure that the inbound link is correctly counted. This means that your page will also by spidered and indexed and visible in web directories. If you do not want this to happen, then please do not create a link to our site. Link exchanges are negotiable by request.

Any personal information collected by us is private and for our own use only and not revealed to third parties except in cases of violation of law, harassement, or violation of hosts or service providers acceptable use policies.

General exceptions: we treat attempted fraud very seriously and will publish attempted fraudulent purchase. Please be aware that we treat email from Nigeria, Indonesia, South Korea, China, Argentina, Uganda, Ivory Coast and Brazil as spam and will report it to your Internet Service Provider, and we will also publish it on our spam page so that other vendors can be alerted. Also, we will take action against anybody violating our intellectual property in whichever manner we see fit, including publishing details of information copied, their site, company and personally identifiable details.
