  • Issue press releases and other statements identifying those businesses infringing on our intellectual property.
  • File DMCA complaints with Google (example), Yahoo, MSN Search and AOL (for the Open Directory) to have violating pages and/or sites permanently removed from their search results.
  • Seek financial compensation for any loss caused to use due to duplicate content penalties in search engines.
  • In certain circumstances we may alert governmental agencies or law enforcement authorities where appropriate.

If we choose to do so, we may give the violator up to three working days notice to remove infringing text or graphics. Should the infringing material not be removed within this timescale then further action will be taken with no warning. However, in certain circumstances it will be in our best interests to immediately file a complaint with the violator's web host and/or other agencies as we see fit.
