Sharp TM200 (TM 200)
The Sharp TM200 is one of the most advanced
GSM phones ever to hit the UK market, featuring
a class-leading 2 megapixel digital camera
with 8X optical zoom, a high-density 240x320
pixel main display in 262,000 colours, Bluetooth,
MP3 and video playback support and expandable
memory.
The camera on the Sharp TM200 is almost
unique. There's only one other phone around
in the UK market with anything similar,
and that's another Sharp handset. The main
screen is recognised by many as being probably
the best display on any mobile handset anywhere.
In addition, the Sharp TM200 has a smaller
external display measuring 64x96 pixels
in 65,000 colours.
Not only does the TM200 take great pictures
and have a fantastic display, but it also
plays back MP3 audio tracks in stereo and
supports video playback too. Handily, the
Sharp TM200 takes SD memory cards to allow
you to store all that stuff on! And you
can connect to a PC or accessory through
Bluetooth or a USB cable, so transferring
data is simple.
There's a set of Personal Information
Management (PIM) functions built in to the
TM200, and Sharp have included a WAP 2.0
browser and email client too. As you'd expect,
the TM200 has Java for games and other applications,
polyphonic ringtones, T9 predictive text
messaging, MMS and all the usual features.
There's even a pretty blue backlight on
the TM200's keypad.
Exclusively available on the T-Mobile
network, the Sharp TM200 allows easy access
to the t-zones service, and with the pin
sharp high-resolution colour display and
strong multimedia capabilities, surfing
the web, downloading ringtones or playing
games is easy and great fun.
