Sharp TM100 (TM 100)

The Sharp TM 100 is an unusual sliding phone that boasts by far the best display of any phone in it's class, plus a capable digital camera and a host of other interesting features.

Exclusive to T-Mobile, and tightly integrated into their t-zones service, the TM 100 shares many components with the highly regarded Sharp GX30 and GX20 phones.

One of the main features setting the Sharp TM 100 apart from its rivals is the excellent display with 320x240 pixels in 262,000 colours - an extremely high resolution device allowing for superior image quality. If you're fed up with the graininess of the displays on other phones, then the TM 100 is well worth considering.

There's a built-in VGA resolution (640X480) pixel camera with a digital zoom function. In common with other Sharp phones, the TM 100 has a macro lens enabling high-resolution closeups to be taken.

The unusual sliding keypad means that the TM 100 can be used for basic functions with just the main navigation key and five controls on the outer cover - you'll only really need the TM 100's keypad for manual dialling and texting. Physical dimensions are 100x49x22mm, and weight is 105 grams. You can connect the TM 100 to a PC using a USB cable or infra-red.
