Sharp 902
Put simply, the Sharp 902 is one of the
most impressive mobile phones ever made.
Underneath the understated design is a
hugely impressive 3G phone, exclusive to
the Vodafone network, with class-leading
features all around.
The Sharp 902 is the first phone
of any type in the UK to feature a two megapixel
digital camera, but that's not all - the
Sharp 902 also has the first camera to have
a 2X optical zoom - this ensures that there's
no loss of quality when zooming in on an
image. There's also a secondary lower resolution
camera for making video calls.
The main display on the Sharp 902 is
a high-resolution 240x320 pixel unit in
262,000 colours, making it the best screen
in it's class. The screen itself rotates
to act as a giant viewfinder for the main
camera.
It's more than just a great camera phone
with a great screen, the Sharp 902 is a
fully-featured 3G phone with full video
calling capabilities and download speeds
of up to 384kbps. The 902 can be connected
to a PC via a cable or Bluetooth, and it
also supports removable memory (SD cards),
which is handy for transfering media files
(such as video and audio) or other data
- the Sharp 902 also has strong multimedia
capture and playback capabilities. It also
has a web browser and email client to help
you keep in touch.
The Sharp 902 measures 102x50x26mm and
weighs 150 grams, which is about average
for a 3G phone. Talktime is up to two hours.
Outside a 3G area, the Sharp 902 will roam
onto the Vodafone GSM network.
