The Motorola A780 is an advanced Smartphone
running the Linux operating system. Featuring
a large, tough sensitive 176x220 pixel display
and a unique flip-down keypad, the A780
is both a powerful organiser and a practical
phone.
It's much more than just a big screen
though - the Motorola A780 is a quad band
GSM phone with support for EDGE high-speed
data, combined with a high resolution 1.3
megapixel digital camera.
The A780 is a hugely powerful handset,
both in hardware and software terms. In
addition the the A780's impressive physical
specifications, it also supports a wide
range of multimedia files, including various
audio and video formats, and the Motorola
A780 also has a powerful web browser (Opera),
email support using POP3/IMAP4/SMTP and
a set of applications allowing you to view
Adobe Acrobat files, plus files created
by Microsoft Office.
You can connect the Motorola A780 to
a PC via a cable or Bluetooth, and there's
also removable TransFlash memory to make
it easy to deal with large files. There's
also Java support for games and other applications,
3D graphics acceleration, PC synchronisation
and polyphonic ringtones.
