Motorola V980
A version of the V975,
designed exclusively for Vodafone, the Motorola
V980 is a great value for money 3G clamshell.
The Motorola V980 features a large 176x220
pixel internal display in 65,000 colours
and a smaller secondary display on the outside,
measuring 96x80 pixels. There are twin VGA
resolution video cameras for video calling
and still photography, email support, advanced
media playback, Java, polyphonics, a web
browser and access to Vodafone's 3G network
at up to 384kbps.
You can expand the memory in the V980
with TransFlash memory cards, taking it
up to 256Mb, and also synchronise it with
a PC via a cable and transfer data and media
files. You can play back MP3 and other audio
formats through the Motorola V980's built-in
speaker.
When outside a Vodafone 3G area, the Motorola
V980 will use the Vodafone 2G GSM network
and GPRS data services.
