Sony Ericsson Z500i
The Sony Ericsson Z500i is a smart clamshell
camera phone with both EDGE high-speed data
and PTT (push-to-talk) capabilities
The Z500i has a 128x160 pixel internal
screen in 65,000 colours and a smaller external
display in 4096 colours which can be used
for caller ID or as viewfinder for the 640x480
pixel camera.
Access to the Internet is fast and easy
with the Z500i's built-in EDGE and GPRS
data capabilities. You can either surf the
web and read email using the Z500i's built-in
software, or connect a laptop up via a USB
cable, serial cable or infra-red link and
connect to the internet easily from almost
anywhere.
The Z500i is quite a powerful organiser
in its own right, with inbuilt Personal
Information Management (PIM) functions and
the ability to syncronic with a PC or Apple
Macinitosh.
The Sony Ericsson Z500i also features
Java for games, polyphonic ringtones, MMS,
QuickShare, themes, a picture gallery and
editor and all the other features you'd
expect in a quality handset.
Talktime is impressive with a quoted
maximum of up 10 hours, with up to 11 days
standby time. The Z500i measures 93x49x24mm
and weighs 110 grams.
