LG U8138 (LG 8138)
The LG U8138 is a compact 3G phone, made
exclusively for the 3 network, and is a
revision of the popular LG U8100 range of
handsets.
Main improvements in this model are better
handling of calls when you roam from a 3G
coverage area to a GSM one, plus a better
display inside and out, and numerous
other small enhancements. What's more, the
LG U8138 looks pretty good too, unlike some
clunky 3G counterparts.
For a 3G handset, the LG U8138 is small
and reasonably lightweight, coming in at
about 130 grams and 99x50x24mm. There's
a large internal display measuring 176x220
pixels in 262,000 colours, and a smaller
external colour sub-display.

The U8138 has a rotating VGA resolution
camera, allowing video calls or stills photography.
And of course the LG U8138 comes with all
the usual features such as Java for games,
polyphonic ringtones, downloadable wallpapers
and themes plus personal information management
functions and a WAP 2.0 web browser, plus
access to 3's exclusive streaming media
content.
