Sagem MyX-7
The MyX-7 is another interesting phone
from Sagem, an is another case of a well
specified phone that's good value for money
and stylishly a bit different too.
The phone's feature set is right up there
with the competition. Two key features are
the large 128x160 pixel screen in 65,000
colours and the VGA resolution (640x480
pixel) camera.
Sizewise, it's a fairly standard 110x46x22
mm and 106 grams, and the MyX-7 is housed
in an attractive case that looks distinctly
different from the competition.
Underneath is a tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900
phone with GPRS. It can connect to a PC
with a cable or infra-red and comes with
all the usual stuff you'd expect from this
sort of phone, such as polyphonic ring tones,
Java support for games, MMS and pretty much
everything the competition has.
The great selling point with the MyX-7,
as with other Sagems, is going to be price,
probably free with many contracts and it
should be available on pay-as-you-go for
around £160.
