PalmOne Treo 650
The PalmOne Treo 650 is a powerful smartphone
with a high-resolution touch-sensitive display
measuring 320x320 pixels in 65,000 colours,
combined with the versatile PalmOS 5.4 operating
system.
One of the first things people will notice
about the Treo 650 is the QWERTY keyboard,
allowing easy messaging via SMS or the Treo
650's built-in email client. The keyboard
is an improvement over the earlier model,
and features a number of easy-to-use controls.
On the back of the Treo 650 is a VGA
resolution digital camera, and inside is
32Mb of Flash memory (22Mb available to
the user), which can be expanded using the
Treo's SD slot - and this can also be used
for SDIO peripherals.

It's all about connectivity, and
PalmOne Treo 650 has this quality by the
bucketload. Featuring quad-band GSM and
GPRS, it can be used pretty much anywere
in the world. The Treo 650 can talk to other
devices using Bluetooth or a cable, and
you can communicate with the outside world
via email, the web, SMS, and MMS, plus you
can transfer files on the optional SD memory
card.
The PalmOne Treo 650 isn't just about
clever hardware though, the software is
incredibly powerful too. Not only does the
Treo 650 feature an all-in-one inbox for
email, MMS and SMS messaging, but it can
access Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
files, browse the web, play back MP3s and
other media types and synchronise with a
PC.
