Panasonic G70
The Panasonic G70 is similar in many
respects to the Siemens Xelibri
6 fashion phone, in that it's an all-out
attempt to produce a "girlie"
looking handset that will appeal to the
female market.
The G70 comes in an unusual clamshell
case, measuring 88x60x27mm when closed and
it weighs 88 grams.
In technical terms, Panasonic G70 is a
tri-band GSM 800/1800/1900 phones with WAP
and GPRS. The screen is 128x96 pixels in
4,000 colours with a small external monochrome
display, the battery gives up to 5 hours
talktime and up to 8 days standby time.
Apart from the attractive case design,
the Panasonic G70 has a couple of other
unusual features. Firstly, the inbuilt display
doubles as a mirror, and the inbuild applications
include a biorythm calculator.
The G70 is available only in limited
quantities and we are still waiting for
a UK supplier. For a similar handset, please
consider the Xelibri
6.
